Aer Lingus (EI) has announced that it will stop flights from George Best Belfast Airport (BHD) to several domestic destinations with immediate effect as of June 12. The development comes after EI subsidiary Stobart Air (RE) went into liquidation. Domestic IE flights to Birmingham (BHX), East Midlands (EMA), Edinburgh (EDI), Exeter (EXT), Leeds Bradford (LBA), and Manchester (MAN) have been canceled; IE flights between BHD and London Heathrow (LHR) are unaffected. In addition, RE domestic flights within Ireland have also been canceled. Passengers booked on canceled EI or RE flights have been advised to contact Aer Lingus.
