Emergency services continue their response to a security incident in Plymouth's Keyham neighborhood as of 22:00 Aug. 12. The nature of the incident remains unclear as yet; however, authorities have indicated that there have been several fatalities and injuries. Police have declared a critical incident but believe the event has been contained.

Authorities have closed several roads and have cordoned off the area. Heavy security and localized transport disruptions are likely in the vicinity of Keyham through at least early Aug. 13.
