The Irbid Electricity Company has announced that electricity cuts will occur in parts of Irbid Governorate 10:00-16:00 and Mafraq Governorate 09:00-16:00 Sept. 9 for maintenance works. Affected areas include Ar-Ramtha and Aydoun in Irbid, and Balama in Mafraq. Residents may experience lingering disruptions through the evening of Sept. 9.

Temporary commercial and communications disruptions, including cellular services, are possible during power outages. Traffic disruptions may occur in some areas due to malfunctioning traffic signals. Trains may also experience delays if outages impact signaling devices or overhead wires. Power outages could also result in the temporary unavailability of essential services such as ATMs and gas stations.
