Emergency responders are continuing efforts to fight a factory fire in King Kaew, Racha Thewa, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, as of late Oct. 19. The cause of the blaze, which reportedly began at around 21:00, was not immediately available.

An increased security presence will probably continue in the coming hours. Authorities could evacuate other factories and buildings near the incident scene. Localized traffic and business disruptions are likely in the area until the firefighters fully extinguish the flames and complete their investigation into the incident.

The incident site is around 20 km (12 miles) east-southeast of Bangkok, near Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
