Tunisia: Activists plan to protest outside Court of First Instance in Nabeul Oct. 28

Women's rights activists plan to protest outside the Court of First Instance in Nabeul from 10:00 Oct. 28 to show support for victims of sexual harassment. Dozens to hundreds of individuals could attend the demonstration.

Authorities will likely increase security to monitor the event. Large numbers of protesters will probably cause localized transport disruptions near the Court of First Instance the morning of Oct. 28. Clashes are possible if demonstrators are overly disruptive or if they ignore police orders to disperse.

Nabeul is located approximately 60 km (37 miles) southeast of Tunis.
