Brunei: Royal wedding events to take place in Bandar Seri Begawan Jan. 16-25

A series of events to celebrate the royal wedding of Princess Fadzilah, daughter of Brunei's monarch Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, will occur in Bandar Seri Begawan Jan. 16-25. Programs will include a marriage solemnization ceremony at the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque Jan. 20 and royal wedding reception at the sultan's official residence, Istana Nurul Iman, Jan. 23. Royal processions are likely before and after the events.
