Haiti: Suspected gang members attack radio station in Port-au-Prince Jan. 31

Suspected gang members attacked the Tele Zenith radio station and a police station in the Bon Repos area of Port-au-Prince, early Jan. 31. According to initial reports, the individuals fatally shot at least one police officer and injured another. According to local sources, a gang leader had threatened to burn down the radio station in late November.

An increased security presence is likely in the area over the coming days. Further attacks are also possible in the near term.
