The Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport has suspended flights to several southern airports through March 2 due to ongoing conflict in the region. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has also issued a warning for Ukraine and surrounding regions, including an advisory to avoid using the airspace within 100NM of the Belarus-Ukraine and Russia-Ukraine border. Officials are likely to update restrictions in the coming days and in response to developments in Ukraine. Increased demand for alternative transport, including land transport, is likely in the impacted area in the coming days.
