Officials in Rwanda ease COVID-19-related domestic and international measures as of March 5 and March 7 respectively.
Event
Officials in Rwanda have eased the country's COVID-19-related domestic and international travel measures effective March 5 and March 7 respectively. As of March 5, authorities have lifted the nationwide curfew. All public and private offices, as well as social events and gatherings, may operate at full capacity. Effective March 7, officials will reopen the country's land borders.

Domestic Measures
Private and public offices may operate at full capacity.
Conferences and meetings may occur at full capacity.
Social gatherings are allowed to resume at full capacity; all attendees should be vaccinated and provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test. taken no more than 48 hours before the event.
Nightclubs and bars must close by 02:00
Public transport may operate at full capacity, provided operators and passengers are fully vaccinated.
Individuals in the country must be fully vaccinated to access public spaces and events
The government also requires all business employees to be fully vaccinated.
Facemasks are mandatory in public areas.
International Travel Restrictions
Land borders are open effective March 7; authorities will conduct random testing of arrivals.
All arriving and departing passengers at Kigali International Airport (KGL) must provide a COVID-19 PCR test taken 72 hours before departure or arrival.
All Rwandans departing from Rwanda must be fully vaccinated.
All international passengers must complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) before arrival.
Authorities will review and update the nation's COVID-19 measures after one month.
