Authorities have used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse protesting bikers outside the Bern-Mittelland regional court in Bern the morning of May 30. Authorities had deployed and cordoned the surrounding area off as rival biker gangs gathered in support of members who were appearing in the court. The two gangs reportedly clashed with each other, throwing stones and other projectiles, resulting in the police action. Bus line 12 is reportedly experiencing delays. Several hundred people are attending the protest.

Increased security is likely to remain near the courthouse May 30. Localized road and public transportation disruptions are likely near the protest location. Further clashes are possible between gang members and between protesters and police.
