The Taiwan Railway Labor Union (TRLU) canceled a planned nationwide strike scheduled for June 3. The decision comes following negotiations with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) and the Ministry of Labor (MOL). Organizers had previously called for the strike to denounce the government's plan to privatize Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA).
