Political parties under the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) will hold a rally at the Collectorate Ground in Kannur, Kerala State, the evening of June 28. The action is to denounce violence during recent protests by state opposition parties over various issues, including the demarcation of ecological conservation zones and the alleged involvement of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in a high-profile gold smuggling case. A few hundred supporters may join the event.
