As of June 14, all flights remain suspended at Damascus International (DAM) following an Israeli airstrike near the facility June 10. Flights are being diverted to Aleppo International Airport (ALP). It is unclear when services will resume, though it could take several weeks as the airstrikes damaged the civilian and military runways, navigation lights, the communications tower, and several warehouses and hangars at DAM.

Once flights do resume, lingering disruptions are likely while authorities clear the backlog fo flights.

Confirm flights if booked to fly via DAM in the coming days. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider alternative travel arrangements if necessary.
