Activists plan to demonstrate in central Tunis from 10:00 June 19 to denounce President Kais Saied and his proposed amendments to the constitution and dissolution of the parliament. Organizers announced that protesters will be marching from Place de la Republique to the Municipal Theater. Dozens to hundreds of individuals could attend the event.

Increased security and localized transport disruptions are likely in central Tunis the morning of June 19. Counterdemonstrations organized by supporters of Saied cannot be ruled out.
