The state utility provider Tenaga Nasional Berhad said that it has fully restored power supply to parts of Peninsular Malaysia that were affected by an unplanned outage as of the late afternoon of July 27. The agency attributed the disruptions, which began early afternoon of July 27, to a power generation equipment issue.

Some lingering commercial and transport disruptions remain possible.
