Event
Authorities in Vanuatu are maintaining limited COVID-19 measures as of July 5.
Domestic Measures
Officials have lifted almost all domestic controls. However, authorities require people that test positive for or develop symptoms of COVID-19 to self-quarantine for seven days. Travelers staying with family or residents can quarantine in households. Other visitors must stay at hotels with approved isolation procedures for the quarantine period. Authorities do not require a test to exit quarantine, but affected individuals should be free of fever for 72 hours before entering the community.
International Travel Restrictions
The government allows entry for all international travelers, regardless of vaccination status, without quarantine. Travelers two years old and above must receive a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours or a supervised rapid antigen test (RAT) within 24 hours before departure. Authorities will also accept evidence of previous COVID-19 infection eight days to two months before departure.
Advice
Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Ensure contingency plans account for further disruptive measures.
