Afghanistan: Telecommunications disruptions occurring in Kabul as of Aug. 8

Multiple services, including Afghan Wireless Network, Etisalat, MTN, Roshan, and Salaam, are affected. Media reports indicate outages are occurring in central and western parts of the city, such as Dasht-e-Barchi, Gul Surkh, Khair Khana, Kot-e-Sangi, and Macroyan. Calling and internet services are disrupted in affected areas.

Commercial disruptions are possible, especially if operations rely heavily on internet access. Communication and security systems dependent on internet connectivity may also be affected.
