Authorities in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines ease COVID-19-related international travel measures as of Aug. 26.

Warning

Event

As of Aug. 26, authorities in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have eased COVID-19-related measures for air travel. The requirement to complete a pre-arrival travel form before entering the country has been lifted for all travelers. Fully-vaccinated travelers are no longer subject to any pre-travel testing requirements.

Pre-travel testing requirements remain in place for all travelers without proof of being fully vaccinated. However, unvaccinated passengers are no longer required to quarantine for five days at their own expense at a government-approved accommodation. As a result, unvaccinated travelers also no longer need to present proof of having paid reservations at a government-approved accommodation when they arrive in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The country is maintaining a few domestic protocols.

Domestic Measures
The government is not enforcing any major internal movement restrictions. Businesses and public transport may operate at full capacity. Officials continue to encourage the public to practice social distancing; individuals must still wear facemasks in public places.

International Travel Restrictions
Travelers who are not fully vaccinated must present a negative result from an RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival or from a rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours before arrival. To be considered fully vaccinated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, travelers must show proof of having received the final dose of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival. Vaccines made by Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sputnik V, are recognized by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Environment.

Any traveler, regardless of their vaccination status, can be subject to random on-arrival COVID-19 testing; individuals who receive a positive result from an on-arrival test are subject to additional isolation and testing protocols.

Authorities could amend any domestic restrictions, international travel protocols, or country risk classifications with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
