Warning

Event

Authorities in Kazakhstan are enforcing minimal domestic COVID-19 measures as of Sept. 12.

Domestic Measures
The government classifies all regions of Kazakhstan as "green zones" as of Sept. 12. In green zones, businesses and services can operate without restriction, and there is no requirement for individuals to use the Ashyq mobile application confirming vaccination status to access facilities. Facemasks remain mandatory in medical facilities.

International Travel Restrictions

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.

Advice

Reconfirm all flights and business appointments. Follow all official directives. Abide by national health and safety measures. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance. Ensure contingency plans account for further disruptive measures or extensions of current restrictions. Prepare for freight delivery disruptions.
