Authorities in Kazakhstan are enforcing minimal domestic COVID-19 measures as of Sept. 12.
Domestic Measures
The government classifies all regions of Kazakhstan as "green zones" as of Sept. 12. In green zones, businesses and services can operate without restriction, and there is no requirement for individuals to use the Ashyq mobile application confirming vaccination status to access facilities. Facemasks remain mandatory in medical facilities.
International Travel Restrictions
Authorities have lifted all remaining COVID-19-related travel measures as of Sept. 12.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
