The Water Resources Agency (WRA) has eased water restrictions in Keelung City and Xizhi District, New Taipei City, as of Sept. 6 following rainfall from Typhoon Hinnamnor and possible further precipitation. Officials lowered the water supply alert from yellow to the lowest green level Sept. 5 and advised local residents to conserve water. Authorities previously ordered water rationing measures in the affected areas from Sept. 3 due to significantly reduced water levels at the Xinshan Reservoir.
