Authorities continue to enforce curbs in parts of Guangzhou as of Oct. 24 amid ongoing COVID-19 activity. Officials have halted dine-in services, closed entertainment facilities, and suspended nonessential business operations in parts of the Haizhu District. Similar measures are in place for Huadu District.

The government continues to designate several locations in Huadu, Haizhu, and Biayun districts as high or medium risk. Residents and individuals in affected areas must remain in their homes; exceptions may be possible for emergencies and essential reasons. Officials restrict travel to and from the affected communities. Authorities maintain measures for three days after the latest confirmed community case and continue testing before easing restrictions.
