Authorities in Papua New Guinea have lifted most remaining COVID-19 restrictions as of Oct. 6. Most domestic measures have ended, and officials no longer require inbound travelers to be fully vaccinated or quarantine upon arrival.

Domestic Measures
The government requires people to wear face coverings indoors at health facilities, though it encourages face coverings in public. Authorities will continue to check temperatures for domestic air travelers and prevent passengers with a temperature above 37.5 C (99.5 F) from boarding.
