Emergency crews are responding to a fire at an apartment building in the resort and port town of Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, the evening of Oct. 17. Preliminary reports indicate that the fire occurred when a Russian Air Force SU-34 fighter jet crashed into the structure shortly after taking off from a local military airfield on a training flight. Authorities have as yet released no information concerning possible casualties.
