Authorities will suspend flight services at Termez International Airport, Uzbekistan, Nov. 1-Dec. 25. Reconfirm services.
Event
Authorities will suspend flight services at Termez International Airport (TMJ) in Termez, Nov. 1-Dec. 25. The airport will undergo various upgrades during this time, including to the main runway, taxiways, lighting equipment, meteorological sensors, and radio navigation landing systems. Flights scheduled to depart TMJ during this period will instead depart from Qarshi International Airport (KSQ).
The airport closure could extend beyond Dec. 25 if damage assessments and repair works are not completed as scheduled. Lingering disruptions are possible once the airport resumes operations and officials work to clear a backlog of flights.
