Victoria will hold state elections Nov. 26. Voters will choose all 88 seats in the Legislative Assembly (lower house) and all 40 seats in the Legislative Council (upper house). Results are typically announced the day of or after polling. Campaign events, including rallies and demonstrations, are likely to continue in the run-up to the vote. Several hundred people may attend large political rallies and/or demonstrations during and after the vote.

Authorities will likely maintain heightened security during major campaign events and at polling stations across the state Nov. 26. Skirmishes have occurred during the campaign period, mainly over allegations of vote-rigging and political interference, among other controversies. Additional clashes cannot be ruled out during the campaign period and election, though security personnel are likely to quell unrest quickly. Localized transport disruptions may occur near rally sites and polling stations during the vote.
