Italy: Radical Party to lead demonstration in Rome Dec. 10

The Radical Party is set to lead a demonstration entitled "Women, LIfe, Freedom" in Rome Dec. 10 on the occasion of Human Rights Day. Participants will gather in Piazza Della Repubblica at 10:00; attendance levels are unclear. Organizers will call on the government to support Ukraine in its conflict against Russian and to support Iranian women amid ongoing demonstrations against the Iranian government. Organizers have indicated a march would be then held; however, no march route has been confirmed.

Authorities will likely deploy additional police to monitor the gathering. Should a march take place, traffic disruptions are likely along the route. Violence is not anticipated.
