Kenya: Suspected Al-Shabaab militant attack results in casualties in Mandera County Dec. 11

Suspected Al-Shabaab militants carried out an attack on a vehicle in Mandera County the morning of Dec. 11. According to local officials the vehicle was traveling on the Rhamo-Elwak road, between Jabibar and Bamboo; the attack killed two and injured three. Authorities have sent additional security forces to the area to track down the attackers.
