Unidentified aircraft attacked a truck convoy operated by suspected Iran-backed militia personnel in the Al-Bukamal area of Syria's Deir Ez-Zur Governorate late Jan. 29. The assault, which reportedly struck six of the convoy's 25 vehicles, came after the trucks crossed over the Iraq-Syria border from the Al-Qa'im area of Iraq's Al-Anbar Governorate. The precise number of casualties in connection with the attack was not immediately reported.
