Activist groups plan to demonstrate at the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Feb. 17-19. The conference will take place at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. At least two protests are planned in Max Joseph Platz by opponents of the regime in Iran. On Feb. 17 at 11:00, activists will meet in support of Uprising Protests of People, and on Feb. 18 at 11:30 the Women Life Freedom collective will campaign for a Safer World. Other protest events are highly likely throughout the conference.

Authorities will deploy additional police throughout the conference and to monitor all protests. Security measures and associated road closures are likely to cause localized disruptions.
