Event
Aero India 2023, India's biennial civil-military air show and aviation exhibition, will take place will take place at Yelahanka Air Force Base in Bengaluru Feb. 13-17. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event Feb. 13. Leaders and delegations from over 32 countries are expected to attend the exhibition. Tens of thousands of people could participate in the event.

A heightened security deployment is certain at event venues and routes used by Prime Minister Modi and other leaders. Congestion and traffic delays are likely on National Highway 44 (NH-44) and near the Yelahanka entrance on Bellary Road toward Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). Police will likely deploy to direct road traffic for the event; authorities will probably divert airport traffic onto Hennur Road in a bid to reduce congestion.
Attendees will probably arrive and depart via Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). Increased security at BLR during the exhibition may lead to possible congestion and delays in clearing customs and security screenings.
