India: Protest ongoing in Chandigarh Feb. 19; clashes reported

Government employees in Haryana are currently protesting near the Chief Minister's residence in Chandigarh to demand changes to the pension scheme. Clashes have been reported between protesters and police; riot police have deployed tear gas and water cannon against participants. Attendance is in the thousands.
