Tunisia: Activists plan to march in Tunis from 14:00 Feb. 25

Activists from multiple civil and human rights organizations plan to march in Tunis Feb. 25 to denounce alleged racism targeting sub-Saharan immigrants in the country. Protesters will gather outside the National Union of Tunisian Journalists headquarters from 14:00 and march toward Habib Bourguiba Avenue. Hundreds to several thousand people could participate in the action.

Heightened security, as well as localized business and transport disruptions, are likely through the afternoon of Feb. 25. Clashes between police and protesters are possible.
