India: Electricity workers plan cancel strike planned across Karnataka State from March 16 /update 1

Workers of the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) and other electricity supply companies have canceled plans to strike indefinitely across Karnataka State from March 16. Union leaders called off the action after the state government agreed to wage hikes.
