Air Traffic Control workers affiliated with the CCOO and USCA unions at 16 Spanish airports plan to strike for two hours apiece every Thursday and Sunday through April. The stoppages will occur 15:00-17:00, except for the Canary Islands, where they will occur 07:00-09:00. The first related strike occurred April 9.
The strike relates to ongoing disputes with employers over pay and working conditions. The affected airports are:

Unless averted, the strikes could lead to flight and airport disruptions, including delays and cancellations, at affected airports; related disruptions are possible at all Spanish airports and for flights using Spanish airspace. Lingering disruptions are likely at affected airports following the conclusion of the strike as airlines reposition aircraft and crew, and work through passenger backlogs.
