Event
Clashes between security personnel and unidentified militants occurred in the Muslim Bagh area, in Balochistan Province's Killa Saifullah District, over May 12-13. Several militants launched an attack on a paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) compound late May 12. FC personnel managed to clear the compound of militants by early May 13; the violence left six FC personnel and one civilian dead, at least six more people wounded, and seven militants dead. There have been no claims of responsibility for the attack.
Muslim Bagh is approximately 100 km (62 miles) northeast of Quetta.
Security forces will likely maintain heightened security in the area in the coming hours. In addition, officials may close roadways in the area or implement other movement-restrictive measures.
Context
Both Islamist and Baloch separatist groups are present in Balochistan Province.

Avoid the area until authorities give the all-clear. Carry personal identification documents. Follow all security personnel instructions. Allow additional travel time in the area.
