Increased security and related disruptions are highly likely in parts of Bhopal June 27 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official visit to the city. Modi will arrive in Bhopal at around 10:30 before inaugurating five Vandhe Express train projects at Rani Kamalapati railway station and addressing a public rally at Motilal Nehru Stadium. Other official events will also occur in the city, such as a planned procession from Raj Bhavan (governor's house) to Police Control Room Square. Organizers may cancel some events at short notice due to inclement weather.

Protests are also possible during the visit and may occur at official sites hosting the prime minister, as well as near prominent government buildings, public squares, and thoroughfares. Security personnel plan to temporarily divert and suspend traffic in some areas, including Maharana Pratap Nagar. Flight disruptions are possible at Raja Bhoj Airport (BHO) as the prime minister arrives and departs. Localized business disruptions are possible through the evening of June 27.
