Members of the Unione Generale del Lavoro (UGL, General Labor Union) employed by rail transport carrier Trenitalia plan to strike across the Abruzzo Region, June 17. The industrial action will last for eight hours between 09:00-17:00. Trenitalia has advised that disruptions to regional and suburban trains are likely during the work stoppage; such disruptions could also impact regions neighboring Abruzzo and may extend beyond the end of the strike.
