German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Bishkek June 21-23. Authorities have intimated that the German president and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov may meet at the Ala Archa presidential residence, south of Bishkek, during the visit.

Authorities will close sections of the following roads during the visit:

  • Manas Airport Road

  • Zhibek Jolu Avenue

  • Chuy Avenue

  • Manas Avenue

  • Bypass road to Tokmok (Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway).
