The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that maintenance work will cause water outages across Colombo District 08:00-23:59 June 24. Several areas will be impacted, including Bloemendhal, Grandpass, Hulftsdorp, Madampitiya, Mattakkuliya, Modara, Mutwal, and Pettah.
Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water. While residents typically rely on private water suppliers during water outages, ongoing fuel shortages could limit availability.
