Togo: Authorities remove all COVID-19-related travel restrictions as of July 17 /update 30
Togo removes all COVID-19-related travel restrictions as of July 17. Limited domestic measures remain in place.
Event
The Togolese government has removed all COVID-19-related travel restrictions as of July 17. Travelers were previously required to present either a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than five days before travel or proof of full vaccination; both requirements have been lifted.
Domestic Measures
Public transportation and businesses, including taxis, restaurants, cafes, markets, and sporting events, can operate at full capacity. Public service offices and health clinics may require the use of a facemask. Authorities encourage those over the age of twelve to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 are further encouraged to use protective measures to mitigate its spread.
Authorities could amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
