The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that water outages will impact parts of Colombo District 08:00 Aug. 19-02:00 Aug. 20. Several areas will be impacted, including Boralesgamuwa, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Katubedda, Kaduwela, Kotikawatta, Kolonnawa, Kotte, Maharagama, Mulleriyawa, and Ratmalana.
Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water. While residents typically rely on private water suppliers during water outages, ongoing fuel shortages could limit availability.
