The National Salvation Front (NSFT) has called for a sit-in outside the Tunis Municipality building from 18:00 Aug. 24. The protest has been organized to denounce the arrest of several opposition political figures.
Heightened security measures and disruptions to transport and business are likely near the Tunis Municipality building late Aug. 24. Clashes cannot be ruled out, including between supporters of rival political groups or with the police.

Avoid the demonstration. Follow all police instructions. Do not attempt to photograph or otherwise record demonstrations. Immediately leave the area and seek shelter in a secure, nongovernmental building if violence erupts.
