Activists plan to rally in several cities across Australia Sept. 17 in support of Indigenous rights. Announced events include the following:
Perth, Western Australia: March from Burswood Park to Victoria Gardens via Matagarup Bridge from 10:00 AWST.
Alice Springs, Northern Territories: Snow Kenna Park near Anzac Oval from 09:00 ACST.
Brisbane, Queensland: March from South Bank Cultural Forecourt to Queens Gardens via Victoria Bridge from 10:00 AEST.
Canberra, ACT: March from National Library of Australia to Federation Mall via Commonwealth Avenue and Queen Victoria Terrace from 11:00 AEST.
Hobart, Tasmania: March from Elizabeth Street Mall to Regatta Grounds via Elizabeth and Bathurst streets, University Rose Gardens, and Bridge of Remembrance from 12:00 AEST.
Melbourne, Victoria: March from State Library Victoria to Federation Square via Swanston Street from 12:00 AEST.
Sydney, New South Wales: March from Redfern Park to Victoria Park via Chalmers and Cleveland streets from 13:30 AEST.

Additional gatherings are possible in other urban centers nationwide. A related rally occurred in Adelaide, South Australia, Sept. 16. Several hundred participants could join each event.
