Authorities are responding to a fire that broke out at a warehouse on Komsomolskaya Square near the Leningradsky Railway Station in the late evening of Sept. 4. Reports indicate that the fire started due to the burning of trash and quickly spread to other parts of the warehouse.

Increased security and localized transport disruptions are almost certain over the coming hours. Rail disruptions are possible if authorities limit trains into the area to facilitate the emergency response.
