UK: Supporters of Imran Khan to protest in London, Sept. 23

Supporters of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan plan to protest outside the Commonwealth Foreign and Development Office on King Charles Street in London from 14:00 Sept. 23. The action is in reaction to the sentencing and arrest of Khan in Pakistan in May 2023. Dozens to a few hundred people are likely to participate in the action.

Security forces will likely deploy to monitor the action. Some localized ground travel delays are likely near the protest site. Significant acts of violence are unlikely.
