Lingering flight delays and cancellations are likely to continue at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) into at least early Sept. 2 due to thunderstorms. As of the early afternoon of Sept. 1, the FAA has issued a ground stop for departures to the airport until at least 17:15; with departure delays to the airport averaging 183 minutes. Air traffic control measures could be extended or rescinded on short notice.
The FAA may issue additional ground stops and/or ground delays in Nevada over the coming hours.
