Air Vanuatu (NF) flight disruptions are ongoing in Vanuatu as of Sept. 23 due to a mechanical issue with their only Boeing 737 aircraft, which serves routes between Port Vila, Vanuatu, to Brisbane and Sydney in Australia, and Auckland in New Zealand. Officials have canceled at least 17 flights and expect the flight disruptions to continue until the middle of next week.
Lingering flight disruptions may continue beyond the suspension as the airline works to resolve passenger backlogs.
