Activists plan to protest in Sofia and three other cities from 18:00 Oct. 15 to denounce the continued imprisonment of Russian opposition activist Alexey Navalny. It is unclear how many participants may attend. Demonstrations are scheduled in the following locations:
Burgas: Alyosha Monument
Ruse: Municipality Hall (6 Freedom Square, 6 Ploshtad Svoboda)
Sofia: Pedestrian path near intersection of Vitosha and Patriarch Evtimiy boulevards
Varna: Central entrance of Sea Garden (Morska Gradina) (117 Primorski Boulevard).
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near all demonstrations.
