Emergency crews are continuing their response operation in Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh, as of late Oct. 29 after a passenger train collided with another train in the area earlier in the day, causing one to derail. The now-derailed train was reportedly traveling from Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam to Odisha's Rayagada before the accident. The collision and derailment killed at least three people and wounded 10 others; however, some sources have reported that more than 40 people have been injured. Officials will likely update the casualty count over the coming hours.
