Authorities are investigating multiple bomb threats at schools in Saint-Denis, Sainte-Clotilde, and Le Tampon early Oct. 30. Initial reports indicate students evacuated from Bellepierre High School in Saint-Denis before officials canceled classes. In Le Tampon, threats at Roland Garros High School and Pierre Lagougue High School, resulting in classes also being canceled for the day. New bomb threats also resulted in evacuations at Juliette Dodu, Montgaillard, Reydelet, and la Montagne middle schools later in the morning. Officials have not confirmed if any devices have been discovered.

A heightened security presence is likely around the affected schools through Oct. 30. Localized business and transportation disruptions are possible while security operations are underway. Further bomb threats are possible over the coming weeks.
